Horses are our business. Since 1987 our philosophy has been that the horse you own should be cared for in a healthy environment that gives you peace of mind and the freedom to enjoy your horse to the fullest.

Situated on over 100 acres just 10 km north of the city of Courtenay in the Comox Valley, North Star Stables gives you that peace of mind by our services, security and years of experience.

We know our clients want a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere that relieves stress,
encourages exchange of ideas
and builds a cohesive equine community.

We encourage total family involvement. We also work hard to support those owners whose responsibilities restrict the time they get to spend with their horses. This offers the opportunity for retired horses, brooding mares and anyone looking for boarding due to “extended leave” such as the military. We can provide for those families by ensuring that you remain in contact with your horse by sending emails with pictures of your horse to ensure that your horse remains part of your family during your absence.
